front or rear?
if its the rear, its quite common for the fixings to crack and snap off,
if you open the tailgate, and look in the shut there is a torx 20 screw either side,
ford were supposed to fit support pads behind them but in a cost cutting exercise they neglected to causing the weight of the bumper to pull the bumper down and sanp the lugs.

tiff mate they are one of the worse designs ive seen, ive just had to replace 2 wings a nd bumper on my mates, what it is take the shit guard out and right up at the top where the bump[er meets the wing theres 2 bolst on the inside, these go into little threaded inserts BUT
these inserts are just on, i mean superglue would of gave them more strength, there not welded in and the press they used to put the in you could of done by hand, so they will just snap off the wing and pull through there holes aswell

there are 3 bolts either side of the bumper into the wings
but you've got to remove the arch liners to get to them
then you have to take the headlights out
there are clips underneath to hold it in place
then you have to rememebr to remove the undertray
so yes, it's a pain in the arse to change or do anyting with them
