i think the ambulances had them but very very rare

yeah quaife used to do them,i think on some special vans they were available as a svo. thats a special vehicle order. i used to have them with a special build tag saying a list of svo options.

escort vans owned by the gpo used to have slippers on the rural runs and sump gaurds,i have had them too. they are to stop pat wheelspinning up them country tracks in the winter.

Where would I go about getting one I wonder? Just got a MK2 tranny with a 24V in it and it could do with a abit more traction!

mate probably easier changing the wholee axle over if your lucky to find a mk3 lsd axle, or do what a friend on the transitforum.org has done with his mk2 with a 24v engine was modify a axle off a f150 to fit as they are easier and cheaper to get hold of than the transit lsd

perfect ratio for a 24v'er too 3.77:1 (if you've got the manual box)
