i will be mapping it myself this time

can someone answer this please i'v noticed there is still values at 0% throttle shouldn't these be 0 at any rev's over tickover speed regarding the fuel i no the newer cars cut fuel off when off the throttle can this also be done through mapping slightly older cars too

Yes alot of modern cars do, do that and you can put it into any aftermarket management. The reason it's still fuelling on the 0% load sites is to cool the pistons/bore etc...

cool the pistons and bore by dumping fuel in and setting fire to it?

surely no fuel at all would cool alot more effectively?

i`ll have to remember this, the next time im hot at work instead of opening a window to let some fresh cool air in, i`ll pour some fuel on my head and set fire to myself to cool down

putting fuel in and not burning it would provide a lot of evaporative cooling effect, but it wouldn't do you catalytic converter and lambda sensor much good amongst other things

The speed many people seem to accept their car can be mapped in is crazy, so many clowns claiming they can map, and tuners taking literally 2 hours to map a car.
What a joke, you cant get fook all done in that time.

It hasnt, but if it had, why not? Most intercoolers and most chargecoolers dont do the perfect job on their own, but sometimes together, they can.

Depends on the car, and the equipment available, if you have a very good base map to work from, and its an N/A car and you have something like a dyno dynamics rolling road that allows you to speed limit the rollers its perfectly possible to visit every single cell on the map in 2 hours.
Generally though I agree with you totally, and it takes manufacturers tens of thousands of hours to get right, mapped in all climates and with every compensation table done to the n'th degree etc.
Most "mapped" cars are actually pretty vague in all but the expected conditions.
My clio is a perfect example, drop the outside temp to -30 and ive no idea if it would even start, as I havent had the chance to test it doing so, so the values I have entered for a -30 degree cold start are literally just an educated guess!
