Anyone else having this prob it comes & goes was doing it last night as well. I know there is a room for this but nothing happens when its in there

Unfortunately Passionford isn't about the members anymore, its about the revenue it generates from advertising.

To be fair, apart from the times where there's a problem and it comes up "Database Error", the performance of this site has been perfect for me for at least the last 6 months at home.

It can be a bit hit and miss for me at work, but quite a few sites are for me there , so just assumed it was me.

Its unfair to say nothing is done about it mate, when we test it we find nothing wrong and we are not seeing any real percentage of complaints so generally speaking that means the problems are local to the member.

If that were true, dont you think we would make more from demonstrating a site that works well to new clients? Dont you think perhaps that if the site was fast we would get more visitors which means more pages served and consequently more advert impressions and increased revenue from said advertisers?

I actually think this is quite possibly about certain ISP sites routed to USA. What ISP are you guys with whom are having problems?

Stu, apologies if my comment offended, however I am sure that 90% of the users on here would agree with me. Don't get me wrong, the Passionford community is one of the best that I have ever been a part of, however a certain something was lost when it all went a bit 'pete tong'.

I do not fault you for using this site to generate revenue, I mean you are a businessman so thats what you do, however I am sure you agree with me that Passionford was a much more 'happening place to be', and more of a community a couple of years back.
