Poss buying a xr2 race car

i know a few people race them on here, are they as much fun as they look

a mate of mine is selling his xr2 race car which im very intrested in, i was building a 4x4 esc cos race car but the expense is massive if i want to be competative in there class, plus running cost are alot more than the xr2 and ive never done any racing before, so i think starting with the xr2 may be a better option as its a ful complete car ready to go and the fastest in class a year ago, which also set the lap record for a 1.6 at silverstone i think it was

it has a full ht race spec motor, which seems really fit, been a while since i had a cvh motor

They do the xr2 challenge at knockhill looks really good fun & wont cost the earth

the shells mint, its a full car in pieces, but im keeping engine & loom, box, diffs, bonnet

probs sell it as fully caged shell, glass, doors, fibreglass/kevlar boot lid, wings and wrc spoiler, genuine bumpers, side skirts, i can make it rolling with standard 4x4 rear beem, struts and hubs

all other parts i would be selling seperate

what is it , an ex rally car shell or one youve caged up , send me over a few pics if youve got em tcsracing@tiscali.co.uk ,ive someone looking for a racecar but ive got engine/box to complete as long as the shells proper .

my brother races in the xr challenge he loves it very competitive as you not allowed loads of heavy mods and he is a tight arse lol so it does him well
