Mondeo Blacktop Carb Conversion..
Allo all,
Apologies if there are other posts on this, got a 1999 1.8 lx 16v Mondeo (blacktop).
Rather than tuning an ST24 to match the other half's 1998 GSI Vectra!!!!!
I thought about a 4 pot project!!!!!!
Any suggestions welcome, obviously less expense the better
Cheers
Dan

Forget it on a 1.8, don't waste your money and time, you would beta him on tb's with decent ecu properly mapped, even a TR6 Triumph yesterday made 152bhp on the old six cylinder engine just converting to fi.
Tb's are less expensive than some think.

............
And generally not optimised without a decent exhaust, ehxhaust manifold, cams etc...AND you nearly always need a new ECU then a mapping session, and unless the mapper is a very good one it never drives like OEM, ie hot start/Cold Start, Cold Idle etc
Cheap to bodge tho
