20 1.47
30 2.03
40 2.93
50 3.49
60 4.16
70 4.80
80 5.91
90 6.67
100 7.59
110 9.02
120 10.12

Look at the rev counter on Simon's car. Does that stack show 10k? If so, and it is accurate, he is going way past 10k revs... interesting!

Gary and Ross both do low/mid 8's with around 700bhp.

Simon Norris is in the 5's, but watch him this year. I'm not sure if people can comprehend 5 seconds from 30-130, a Ferrari 360 takes about 14 seconds AFAIK.

Yeah it is mind numbingly quick

Just lifted these figures/text from Norris Designs webpage

Power: 950bhp & 700lb-ft with 9250rpm rev limit
Weight 1180Kg (Dry)
Top speed: 215mph + (201.43mph so far )
Best 0-60mph = 2.4 sec
Best 0-100mph = 4.3 sec
Best 0-150mph = 8.00 sec
ź mile in 9.26 sec @160.09mph on 17" Nitto 555R tyres.
Best 30-130mph = 5.06 sec
(All times recorded at Santa Pod drag strip )

As much as I love Andy's Focus it's not in the same league power wise is it?

If it had 900bhp then I would expect a good match!!!

Not sure about andys times but its not as quick as this evo its a proper weapon that thing. Im sure andy had fugures on his old car at daddy thrash im sure we will see more times from the focus soon, & soon after that with more power & a new box under 50 sec laps at the hill coming up, as for the norris evo

would be good to see the norris evo & rod tarry in a straight line

About 12 seconds in my civic and about 9 in my evo. Hopefully that'll be coming down a fair bit.

I think u can graph rods car against the evo quite easily for the 30 to 200 part. You can use the youtube video of the Evo - time it between 30 and 200 and draw some sort of straight line (rather rough!) or a diminishing line so that the accel is slowing down. Take that and put it against a graph of the data rod has already provided. I am *guessing* the evo is faster up to say 150 but the accel after 150 is the area of rods car and the data from rods car is the previous engine not the current one!

Mad mad motors

About 17secs when fitted with the T34.48 and Greens.

Not timed it since having a bigger exhaust housing and more boost.

Geared for 210 during Topspeed testing with 40psi in the tyres.

Simons car is unreal at this discipline . No Fords on the same Planet as that extreme machine . Crazyunreal stop me please.

With Harveys they are probably the Fastest 2 Fords with Martins old Escort maybe 3rd. Dont think there is this Data for Martins new car, so mines likely to be next at 8.38 or at least the best of the RWD.

so am i right in thinking a genuine 500 hp 500 lbft 2wd cos should do 30 - 130 in about 10 seconds on standard drivetrain gearing ?

i think i could do about 13 on a perfect gearchange run as it is at the moment.

Old twinkletoes has done a 9.4 can I suggest their aint another 2WD Cossie under 600 that will get within a country mile of that, Lees car is very fast in that area. Your 13 or maybe a 12 sounds more realistic for a 500/500 2wd.

How do you measure an exact 30mph, or perhaps you think 29.6 or 30.1657 is near enough . This event was started to protect clutches & stop the damage of full bore Launches.

Default It's BACK!!!! :)

Hi Guys Mechell from the MLR here (don't shoot)

Date is the 14th March 2010 - all the rest is the same as below! Hopefully there won’t be the huge headwind this year!!!!!

Payment and information can be taken by me AFTER the 3rd February.. (I’m away till then – but don’t leave till Saturday, so if you want in you can phone before Saturday and I’ll take your money of course ) Cost will be Ł95.

If you need to know anything, you are probably better off looking at the MLR - * * * 30-130 IS BACK! Saturday 13th March * * * - Mitsubishi Lancer Register Forum

bit of info

The "30-130 and Top Speed" event was created to stop all the pub talk surrounding tuning and to understand 'real world' performance, and which modifications / packages really work, and RAF Marham is the perfect environment with 2800 yards of immaculate tarmac!

How does it work?
Using VBox technology each car enters the start box below 30mph and then accelerates hard so it exits at over 30mph and continues to 130mph as quickly as possible. There are no more rules - just do whatever you think is the fastest way of accelerating to 130mph - and on to a max speed if you want - it's all about being as quick as possible!

The GPS data logging records everything your car does - you can have as many runs as you can fit in and try anything you like, such as in gear times, 0-60, top speed, brake tests, etc and review all the data later, but for the purposes of this event we'll pull off the valid 30-130 times and top speed and display them on the results leaderboard throughout the day.

We've measured a few different cars over the years to put things into perspective -

Simon Norris - Evo9SWB - 6.19
Porsche 911 Turbo (X50) - 13.44
Porsche 911 GT3 - 15.73
Ferrari 360 - 16.14
Skyline GTR32 - 20.01
Monaro - 33.91
Honda Accord Type R - 40.64

Here's the result from previous MLR 30-130 events;

2008: http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=193235&highlight=30-130[/FONT]
2007: http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=142890&highlight=30-130[/FONT]

MLR info is here if you need it * * * 30-130 IS BACK! Saturday 13th March * * * - Mitsubishi Lancer Register Forum this could be the last time we can get onto Marham as they are suffering noise issues like everyone else...

Not wishing to step on any toes here or elsewhere - just I can't find any info that you guys should know!! Please excuse me if it is already about and I'm just not seeing it..

Hope to see some of you there

Already booked on via the MLR. Really looking forward to seeing which if any of the above times I can beat. Hopefully do the Accord at least

Be nice to see some big power players from the Ford scene at the event proving their cars too

Not all ford of course...but 7 secs traction dependant ( ET Streets Santa Pod ) or 8 secs 888's at Woodbridge.

Traction, or lack off will always screw the 2wd cars

my personal best has now reduced to 8.799 seconds

quite a way ahead of the 14 seconds i was doing 2 years ago.
