Also check engine codes too - ASZ is the 130TDI PD - not sure about the 115 PD or 130 non PD.

Boot badges mean fook all tbh mate! Some came from the factory with whatever they wanted, have heard of 150 TDI's come with no red in the TDI badge at all!

Check the sticker on the boot floor, these have chassis number on, power etc etc, so these dont lie.

They were all badged at the dealers so beware, there is no consistancy. Best bet is to check the power output on the boot sticker. There was a crossover at 2000 i believe.

The PD150 has a FMIC so a bit easier to spot.

Shouldnt be bad at 170bhp. Ive got an Ibiza FR PD130 with a revo remap at 180bhp with 295lb/ft torque. Think it sits pretty much on the limit torque wise before destroying the standard clutch. Only really does clutches in if you drive heavy footed, if you gradually put the power down its fine. They are fairly powerful for a diesel

My ex bought an Ibiza TDI Sport 130 remapped to around 180bhp, its on its 5th turbo (according to service history) in 98000miles after being remapped early on its life. Shes only had it for 6months or so and the turbo went the other week again....compressor wheel sheared off & split into 4 pieces - one piece went through the boost pipe! LOL!!

Does go like fook though when it works! LOL!

Got banned 5 month ago for speeding in it 120 average over 1 mile so not really driven it much since then lol.

My cousin has an ibiza cupra tdi which has a bit more power than mine. Think he had clutch problems, but he drives like a tit

Wow Awsome topic! Just Looking for a Bora TDi 130....

So a good Idea to get clutch done before I get it remapped? Or am I better keeping it standard?

Engine wise.... Do I want a "PD" ??
