It depends what engine it is? Most are straight forward. Obviously the smaller engines are generally easier.
Normal principle of removing driveshafts etc. Then support the engine and remove the box.
Lets face it, a clutch is never a nice job, but they aren't too bad!

As above mate, they are a doddle. Undo the steering intermidiate shaft from the rack, cable tie the radiator to the slam panel, undo power steering pump leccy connections, remove battery and tray....underneith the car now, remove exhaust front section, remove the lower subframe....after that you'll be amazed at how much room there is to work with and it all becomes self explanatary at that point
