Default Anyone know any Info about this RS500

http://www.rscosworthbreakers.co.uk/home.html

I have been sent some addition pictures but looking at the engine bay ones i'd say its done 70,000+ and the fact the odometer reads exactly 32000 and the numbers don't seem to line up has got a lal bit worried

i appricate that the car could have been stood and it just needs a dam good clean but any info anyone has on it would be great

Is that a 'Turbosystems' sticker on the rear, right side of boot?

Looks a bit shabby, Nice rims though

i have seen genuine miles cars do that before with the numbers not lining up correctly and definatly havent been tampered with but the engine bay certainly does,nt look 32000 miles more like 132000 but saying that with a car that age its the same as any it just depends who was looking after it , but as said above ad give paul a ring thats ure best bet for 500 info

That engine looks terrible! Like people said 132K looks more like it!

Whats with all the oil around the heatshield? the STELLA can near the injectors?

Id check the history and maybe try and speak with previous owners?

Lot of money to outlay if dodgy

Pictures do lie though and for all be know the car could have been raped for 32000 miles then stood on a driveway by the seaside for 15 years!

something sint quite right about that car - if it was a genuine 32,000 miles car with only 2 owners, i'm pretty sure they would have kept it in better nick than that

always go with gut instincts!

also; where are all the engine bay stickers; surely the would be still in tact after 32k? -
ask for a pic of the seat bolster, pedals and carpet - another tell tale sign

also contact paul off here - rs500 registrar

the speedo never lines up exactly as it turns to the next full "thousand" it takes a few k to line up, so that explains that!
also that could well be low mileage as certain parts under the bonnet seems in better condition than you would have expected of a high miler/ unloved engine bay the actuater is better than expected (easy changed tho before you all shout lol)

I tend to believe what the seller says, my gut instinct on cars is very good and so far I have never got it wrong and bought a lemon

as said paul is the man to speak to..
