i think its a good thing stu and always happy to see you make some new developments, like changing onto this new style forum, took a bit of getting used to but seems great and never have to worry about it being slow or errors anymore.

If i were to make any suggestion it would be to have it similar to mlr, they have two general discussion parts, one for car and none car........thats an option as ur evos and bmw and go in the car one and new tvs and jobs can go in the none car one

its just option and i like it on mlr, not a complaint but maybe a bit of info for ya

I tried it about a year or so ago for a week, i got hammered for making it the worlds hardest to use and crappest forum. Go figure...

So did I and Gearbox Gary. You had more relevant threads which kept the threads on page one for longer, meaning this stupidly fast forum was slowed down, a lot. Also, I have often looked for a thread an hour later and it's on page 2.

People didn't like this board, they adapted to it and it's better. Fact. People don't like change.

benni makes sense, unfortunately the british public isnt known for its intelligence so i say do it, have it back how it was, if they dont like it tough!

surely its not rocket science, if they cant work that out how the heck do they have the brain power to even drive a ford!

this might be the wrong thread to put this in, but im gonna give it a shot anyway

can we have that built in image resizer back?

i have seen one on another forum, where it resizes the image to either 640 wide, or 800 wide - and you have to click on it to enlarge in a new window if you want to display the full resolution picture.

i think this is a good idea, especially as some people dont know how to resize pics some host huge FULL size ones up so that you have to scroll right >>> accross the screen on a thread to read the rest of the posts

if you bring back the resizer, then

...and you dont, then ok, was worth a try

I have found this site invaluable to my full Cossie restoration, I would like to thank all those who helped me over the last year or two. I try to give some back by passing on what I have learnt with the caveat being that there may be better solutions.
I have noticed some issues typically between the more experienced members (I guess they are) but I largely ignore it as I have a lot to do and I need all the help I can get.
I would like to think that others on here that have issues with individuals could agree to disagree and take those discussions off line... Its really to late leaving to moderators, I appreciate the effort Stu, but everyone who writes inflamatory posts should think about who they are effecting with this and just delete it... I like many don't need to know or care if you don't have the same opinion as member X etc....
As for posting in the correct location, I think some more visible road maps would help those who are unsure find the correct location. An up front direction on where to post what,,, yeah it should be obvious but I must admit that over the years I have posted in the wrong place on some sites not realising that the other area existed till later....

Tony your last quote raised a question in my mind, I wonder if getting a lobby group together one could approach ford and see if as a lobby group we could get a car like the old cossie 3 door built.... (ok I have a three door maybe theres other options and we would iterate to decide...)
I work with Auto companies in the US including Ford / GM and the big push is for the customized car... and for new direction... where the customer drives the business... Sure soccer mums out number us but the guys inside Ford do share a common interest in performance cars...
Sorry for this being off topic, but if this is of interest lets start a thread on it.. If its a stupid dream just kick me , The passionford 500 (PF500 for short)
Ah heck I will start a thread, if no one cares it will just die..., hmm where do i start it... I will kick it off general as whilst I like cossies, there are others who might be interested... and bring something new to the table...

you are obviously going to have more people complaining than giving you a pat on the back, mainly because when something goes wrong it will affect lots of peole and they will all get into the mob mentality of it, so talking sense then makes no odds until everyones calmed down

when things are going great then the onin is that you are just doing what you are supposed to be doing so no one gives you a big up unless you say "this is the new thing that's happened this week" and then you'll probably get slated for it which is why you don't put it up in the first place

i don't think there is anything inherently wrong with pf or the people who post here as individuals, but until you are an accepted part of the fruniture i don't think the newbies get as easy a introduction as they could because once you have made a name for yourself, it's very difficult to clear out and get back to being soemoen else

i've always been honest, without being blunt about stuff if i can help it, but if i've got nothing good to say then i try not to say anything at all

Or the fact that the 'enthusiast's' seem to break there car's for a few extra £'s rather then keeping as is.

Who's losing out really?
Sad really.

Really? Are you looking in the right place mate?

Please go onto the Ford forums where we all go to read & write about Fords, and find me 3 example's to prove your point.
