think that one is approx 4 years old. Think thats when i first saw it. Cut and shut u rekon. Thats why it split like it did.

Uh funnily enough mate, cars wrap up around objects and bend to crazy shapes. Not tear like a piece of paper.

Ive seen other accidents where cars were previously cut and shut and also tear like this. Cars that havent been cut and shut they usually fold up and wrap around said object.

depends how its been hit, usually it crumples but after a while it will rip when theres no crumple left

but also cut and shut would do the same thing but the car aint gonna be a 75/25 cut and shut for that type of impact

If your that interested about debating it, why don't you go and buy to identical Audi's, cut one in half and weld it back together, accelerate number one at high speed into a tree and see what happens....

If you walk away well enough to try number 2, make sure your life insurance is up to date!

Not sure either way...just seems likely a near enough 2 tonne, long estate, travelling VERY fast could split without it being a cut&shut. If it hadn't of split in this case the car would of wrapped round the driver aswell

Maybe impact zones/energy dispertion and all that
