if you have a brake pipe flaring tool its a piece of piss.

brake pipe flaring tool (cheap ones work cheaply)
brake pipe
fittings
and probably a friend to help if your making them on a car, if not, a vice

What size/type of brake pipe do I need, what type of fittings?

If your in the town pop into patco or dingbro and get the pipe and fittings,all standard sizes on modern cars.They may also do a flaring tool.
