Default Ka Photos

I had nothing else to do yesterday morning, so spent some time cleaning my SportKa.

So, thought I may as well take some photos too (quite a few)

Comments, suggestions, etc would be very helpful.

I got them from a friend at a very good price

When I was looking around for them, they were around £270

I've not seen any Ka morettes with crystal lenses yet

The ones on mine seem very bright though...a big improvement over the original headlights

Really nice, all i say is please dont hit a hedge on ice at 40 mph and roll it. They really dont seem strong as my little sister found out.

it doesnt look crumpled in so I'd say thats not too bad? Your sister must have been safe unless the steering wheel/pedals/seat moved?

She was fine just a bit shook up. Total write off though and being able to roll at 40? Not a safe car in my opinion

The drop is next

And...getting rust around the rear wiper

So thought it would be a good opportnity to have the boot handle and wiper removed and make it smooth

Little update!

New grille! I've had this sat there since May (fitp infact) and finally got around to putting it on last night

So, before...

During (my fingers were very sore at this point...bloody clips)...

And after, with the new grille on...

A big improvement and really finished off the front end

And then cleaned it this morning, so thought I'd get some better photos

I like the sportka - and you obviously take good care of yours.

but - those headlight make it look like a G-Whizz electric car - I know its your choice, but the standards look much better IMHO.

Keep all the standard parts as it will be worth more when you sell as a standard car rather than modified.
