Default Need help quick: rs turbo main bearings...

Right, the bearings I have received are different from the ones I ordered, only just opened the box and noticed

Now the ones I took out were half grooved, half not. The ones I have are grooved on both sides. Will they fit or do I need to get some more?

Anyone know as I'm on with building my motor now.

The grooved ones are fine, just check they sit correctly in the bearing caps.

I'm not sure what you mean about what you took out, you mean one half of the bearing was grooved and one half was not?

Cheers Christian. What I mean is on the ones I took out there wasn't a groove in the cap half of the bearing. The place I got them from said there was 2 types so I ordered the ones that were in my engine and they supplied the others

nasp cvh had grooved bearings upper and lower, turbo cvh had grooved uppers and non grooved lowers for increased bearing surface area for durability
