Sometimes when I click on a thread it shoots me off to the last post. But only sometimes.

For example, three times out of five when i've clicked on THIS thread I go to the bottom. Why?

I just checked,you are set to basic message editor.....go into your user options and change it to full message editor...

I would do it for you but we haven`t got everything activated yet...

Go to:

User CP,
Edit Options,
scroll to the bottom and click on the drop down in message editor and set it to full interface.....

Yeah can do that, byt you can't bookmark that though.. as it's classed as a search.... and you have to click two things to ge to that screen.

I just think this new setup is pointlessly rubbish

I'm sure the old one would have been fine if it was put on a decent server... in fact I preferred it the way it was even though it didn't work now and again!

If you left-click the link (so it actually does the search) it will be expired the next day. If you RIGHT-click the link and add it to your bookmarks from the popup menu it should work anytime.

The VB layout of the search page is still way poorer than phpBB though, not half as clear about the last post in each topic etc

Found out what I'm really wanting..... if you go to Advanced search and search for a user's posts (my own in this case), you get a far more user friendly screen which shows the most recently posted in topics highlighted in bold and who last posted in it and when.... but you can't bookmark this.

With the other method (that you can bookmark) of clicking your own name it just shows a big list without any of the above info

can we have that picture resizer thing back, it was a really good feature, hate it when people post up huge pictures and you have to scroll sideways to see them

Can only get on here through another server as many people i know on wanadoo and orange are in the same boat ,needs to be sorted ,i had no issues at all before it came over to v bulliten, ran fine

Same here, can barely get it to work, last few times I've tried to post it all goes tits up. Was fine 90% of the time before too....

Try changing your DNS Server address

Go into your internet properties

click on internet protocol (TCP/IP) then click properties

click the box > Use the Following DNS Server address

Then fill the top box with 208.67.222.222

and the other with 208.67.220.220

click ok and reboot your pc
