Date of first registration
I`m just looking at getting a 328i beemer on an M reg. Just done a car data check and it says the first date of registration was 2004! 
I am going to hpi it in the morning when i get my debit card but just wondering if it will come back on the list. Anyone know why that might be?

It is the IMPORT date, I had this several times on cars from Jersey, even a "Y" reg mk2 escort, said on dvla date of reg as 82 but date of manufacture as 1980.
