Default what shade of black should i spray a rs1600i splitter?

i have a rs1600i splitter and my mate sprayed it satin black but it doesnt look real , its a fibreglass copy but would like it looking real, would matt look right?

matt should give it the plastic look, should be alright

i'd go with matt too i think, as the original RS1600i splitter and spolier were made of rubber

original was made of rubber but splitter that came with my spoiler is fibreglass , think il get him to do it in matt then, cheers guys

original 16 splitter is made of plastic not rubber, matt black should get it looking like a original one

a always paint the original stone deflector on me escoss with satin black and looks original when done

the splitter looked to glossy in satin and he said he'd dulled it down a little

you can get an aerosol texture spray designed to replicate texture on oe bumpers. you spray this on then overcoat with paint when dry. good stuff. i would think you would find it at a decent factors that sells paint.

think i mite go with this, what colour would i do the corner bumpers and trims as id like the colour restored? cheers

mite put the graphics on then have another look over it, couldnt get any pics as started to rain, anyone got any pics of anything in satin black incase he hasnt done it satin black? cheers

i know you can get decent textured finish in a can now like said up a bit,ive seen it done when i used to work in a bodyshop and if you take your time it can look very good
