Aquiring abandoned cars - how is it done?
Theres a 5 Series i have my eye on near me - hasn't moved since November, 2 flat tyres and looking pretty sorry for itself.
I remember ages ago on here someone spotted an abandoned RST or something and was able to effectively claim ownership.
How is this done, any pit falls? Will i legally own the car if i get the log-book from the DVLA?
Cheers

some poor bastard got knocked down on way home from work, has been in hospital for 2 months, comes out and finds someones smashed the window and claimed???????????? his car due to flat tyres and no road tax..
this just sounds stupid in my opinion, ive had loads of cars over the years, and for 1 reason or another have sat around my house with no tax.............and there would be plenty chance id just be like aye sure you can have it seen as im waiting on a gearbox and havent bothered to tax it.........................................
