Default Jacket recommandations ??

Looking for a good rain jacket,

maybe one with detachable fleece so i can use it both summer and winter.
(almost never wear jackets, only when it rains of course)

Was looking at goretex stuff, but don't really know where to start

Sprayway (Goretex) is my personal choice, had gear used regular out on the hills for years and never ever leaked.
Lowe Alpine stuff is also excellent (Triple Point Ceramic material).

Lowe Alpine... has a detachable fleece inside (extra cost) paid £180 for mine .. bloomin good coat too, has protected me from the -15 temps in Poland this year, loads of snow and the odd torrential downpour in the uk..

would seriously buy another..

Don't think it's water proof though.

I actually need something like this for work - something rain proof, but not padded/fleeced or anyhting (don't want it to keep me warm, just dry)

But I don't wanna spend any money on it as it's only gonna get work for work
