Default missus's birthday present track day help needed

the missus is 30 this month bless her and she mentioned a while back that she would really like to do one of them day out round a track in someone elses car (usually a few different cars?) things

now she thinks ive forgot about this and thinks i wouldnt get it her anyway as its too much money but i'd love to be able to surprise her with the tickets either before hand to go on the day or whip em in her card

she dont want to drive mine round because she doesnt feel safe with rwd so it has to be 4*4 or fwd

Matt, I got Sam a rally day at silverstone, she really enjoyed it. Cost about £140 in a pug 206. Had two sessions with instructor and then he took her out On the second time out I told her to ask him to teach her the scandinavian flick Apparently he grabbed the wheel just before the corner for her setting it up and she just started screaming

check out bedford autodrome. they do a lot of stuff. i got my misss a track day there in her accord type-r. she loved it, and said out of all the tracks she's been around, it was by far the safest with the most run off which gave her the confidence to really push the car.

Matt try this one http://www.track-action.co.uk/homefrmr.htm and click on Trackday Packages. They have very good instructors there.

Mainly done at Oulton Park

I bought Susanna A drive afternoon on Rockinghams circuit (not the oval), in a Scooby STi, usual full intstruction, was out for quite a while, she loved it, even let her drive my car out the carpark after but she got a little carried away pmsl...

I'll try and find a link, I simply bought a voucher and she rings up and picks a date...

Looks like they use M3's now!!!! That would be cool for her I reckon, they also do a Cooper S experience!! I remember hearing the cooper S was quicker around that circuit than a scooby anyway

For my 21st I was given a pressie of a 'Sensational Six' ticket for Silverstone. It cost about £150 but I got to choose what I wanted to drive, from what I remember there were:

Skid pan & Skills Session
Off Road Rally Track Pug 106
Caterham Track Session
Ferrari Track Session
Pug 306GTi6 Track Session
and sommink to do with Go Karts......

I chose the 306GTi6 as I thought that's the one they were most likely to let me have a bit of a play with over the other Track Cars. Was a good day, but had the appointment cancelled a few time cos of rain.
