Can't find blue sensor on cossie - ECT sensor location??
Been told it's at the back of the head on the passenger side, it isn't!
I think I must be going mad, please help, anyone got a pic or an accurate description of the blue sensor.

if you look from above at the back of the engine, you will see a water pipe that goes to the oil cooler modine, beneath this is the ECT, very awkward to change but do-able.
this is the passenger side of the bay near the dipstick

That's the one in the picture, right pig to get to... I found it best to drain coolant, remove the hose from above and then re-fit and refill.
Sounds long winded, but it's much quicker in the long run, unless if you 12" fingers and rubber forearms

You will only lose a small amount of coolant if you remove that coolant pipe with a cold engine! Remove it and get a long reach socket on the sensor as has been suggested already
