Who's the best.....
....Broadband provider? I can't get it yet where i live, and never thought I would as I live in the middle of no where. But..... I was sent this on a email from BT yesterday.....
OK, so it wont be amazingly fast, but it will be one hell of a improvment over shite dialup Who am I best to go with, or can it only be BT?
CheeRS for your help.

For Postcode:
Good news! BT Broadband is being brought to your area and will be available on 17th November 2004. A preliminary check on your postcode shows that it's possible for you to receive BT Broadband or the even faster option of BT Broadband 1Mb. For an even more accurate result please check again using your telephone number.
You can order online today. When you place your order, we will fully test your line to make sure that it's ready for BT Broadband.
We look forward to you signing up for BT Broadband.

shite? erm... no...
it'll be approximately 10 times faster than what youve got at the moment and aproximately 4 times as responsive...
99% of people will never even need/use 512k let alone 1mbit!
lets compare... t download a full CDs worth of data it'd take just under 3hrs on 512k, just under 1.5hrs on 1mbit, and about 35 hours on dialup, prividing you get a pukka 56k connection
i'm a HEAVY internet user and i find 512k MORE than sufficient...
altho in all fairness my bandwith is constantly maxed out at 70kb/sec down 10kb/sec up as i leave the PC on 24/7 downloading movies
