Our macman is 100% reliable?Has been for the past 6 year.Comes every 2 weeks rain or shine.Snap on however is a different story.Had 6 different dealers in the same area over the past 12 years and the 1 we have now hasn't visited our workshop for over a year.

Although i still prefer the look and feel of snap on over mac.
Get most of my snap on tools now off ebay.

Yeah I'm thinking about getting prices from both now before I buy it. We got 3 toolmen, snap on, cornwell tools and mac. Getting a bit expensive every week :-(

Our has re appeared, we bought a few bits, hit him for a load of warranty stuff, then didn't buy so much and he has stopped coming in again.

Gotta say the prices on the flyers are absolutely ridiculous.

Christchurch Dorset?

I pretty much grew up in Highcliffe, bet it's changed a lot?!

Went back that way a few years ago, from Wareham, through to Bournemouth via Poole. There seemed to be plenty of Main Dealers that way, plus I dealt with a few Ferrari specialists in the past down there, I would of thought there'd be rich pickings on a quite small radius for Snap On, MAC etc....

Yeah I work in xchurch but live in bmth again now. We had a mac man when I started my Apprentaship in 1996 then he jacked it in in 1997. Though all the mechanics I know are now flooding him with all the broken stuff they bought back in the day lol.
