I currently have a straight through stainless on my Xr3i however it is a bit too loud, does anyone know what the sportex system is like? i want something with a nice burble but not mega noisy.

I dont know what XR3i you have but I did put a sportex system on mk3 3i I had once and it made it slower
I had a kent cam in it,filter and did try a Rs head.The car picked up a lot better with a Bosal system on it.Nice and raspy too

Mine has a fast road cam, K and N filter, lightly ported and polished head, however the exhaust is just too much!

my rs16i rep with zetec in got a s2 stainless on it with a powerflow silencer in centre goes well and sounds great
