Default xr2i to frst

hi all
i am thinking of doing a frst conversion on my xr2i cvh
can some one tell me that the difference is between the xr2i cvh engine and the frst engine

internals are different mate the pistons are higher compression and the combustion chambers are different and theres an oil return in the block. you can change the pistons, rods, head and tap an oil return in the sump but would be easyer to buy and rebuild a frst lump, jon

as said its easyer just to get the frst engine as it will be cheaper! as for the differences as has been said low comp mahl pistons and oil return in the block as well as an oil cooler and t piece for the oil hose to the turbo, as for combustion chambers being different? thats news to me and im not sure if its entirely correct! as far as im aware the head will have sodium filled valves also plus the intake air temp sensor is different as is the map sensor and tps.

the rs turbo combustion chambers are just domed and the N/A ones are heart shaped
