The tango orange one B503 DBD of lil kimmi1987 used to be a V8 rover engine one, but my mate put back in a V6 lump,(not too sure if I beleive him though) sold it just afterwards, and bought a shed of a car a 406 turbo that used more oil than petrol, but he's got a type r now.

lil kimmi1987,
Yes I saw that about the paint, I never beleived the man(james) who said it was a V8, as it did not sound V8, I was curious as he seemed to know nothing about it, and did the swap over in two days with no problems with a V8 back to a 2.8i, his tool kit is not extensive, neither is his knowledge, my dad has a V8 we stuck in his xr4i.
James then bought a knackered 406 turbo(petrol) but now has a type r in red.
He told me he sold it to someone who comes from brandon/suffolk and I certainly saw it there a few times after it went from him.
As you say needs some work does mr tango.

I wouldn't have been so kind about him as your description!!
I wouldn't let him put a wheel on a toy car let alone a real one, assuming it's the same person, his name is james a skinny short man who lived in Saham Toney, Norfolk ?
He's not too bad as a person though, good luck with the car, it has my old(new) K&N air filter on it, which he taped into place he said as he had lost something!!
I did have a magnex SS system for these but back box is on my dads xr4i(v8) now, and I cut a centre box out, though it had 5 boxes as std, so quiet!!
Good luck with the car, I'll no doubt see it at a few shows ?
