I've got adjustable Konis all round on mine with standard ride height Chassis Dynamics Springs.
I used to have Bilsteins but got rid of them for Konis

Coilovers would be my choice if I did it all over again.

I'm also thinking on coilovers but somewhere I read that rear had to be changed/modded? (at least 2WD version). anyone knows about this?

Yes mate, there is a mod to the rear when fitting coilovers take one hammer and bash inner turret away from suspension unit,as spring on unit catches turret very slightly
