Hi,
as your car is registered after August 1992 technically it should be fitted with a cat to conform to MOT standards. However it really all depends on your tester. If you present the car for test and tell him it was registered before August 92 and there is no cat fitted then he would have to give you the benefit of the doubt. CheeRS, Mike. |

At the end of the day I'd bet that 90% of MoT stations wouldn't fail it for that, like they care??

best solution then is to keep the old exhaust tucked away just in case it fails the mot and change as required ? Leigh |
