Default Meaty tires

Hi everyone. I recently acquired a 91 sierra and want some new shoes for her. I want to put some meaty tire on the setup as well. I've been looking at a few thread and seeing what size wheels that would fit on a sierra but haven't seen anything for meaty tires.

I saw this sierra on Google and fell in love with the fitment. I've looked and looked trying to find what he's running but had no luck. Any ideas?

If not this route I was thinking about dare rs 17x8.5 et20 but from I've been reading...these won't fit.

Best stick to 8x17 wheels, I'm running et33.
With 235/40 Kumho V70 tyres all round, arches rolled and Gaz Golds.
Plenty of grip, however, suspension and ride height will impact on whether they rub as the overall tyre diameter is an inch greater than standard tyre size.

For you set up, is rolling the finders a must?

Great picture by the way!

you will probably get away without rolling on the back ,but the fronts will rub without rolling .

Ridgey. Your wheels and tyres are the widest I have seen on a Saff. There must be very little clearance ,even though you have had the arches rolled?

I'm frequently physically pulling out on the arch to ease them for clearance

I thought that might be the case , i did a trial on mine once with a 235/40/17 front tyre and as soon as the jack was lowered it fouled the bodywork when i turned the steering wheel and my front and rear arches are rolled.

The tyre also just touches the front and rear of the arch liner when the wheel is turned, but isn't an issue.
