My 2wd Saff is only 450 Bhp but when I first got the extra power it was on Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres 205/40/17s which were no use at all in stopping wheelspin. it was quite scary and like driving on ice so that was why It now runs on the 215/40/17 Federal 595 RSR track day tyres. Much better grip now and although you can still do dry road powerslides its not as unpredictable as it was on the F1s.

I've got my local tyre guy trying to get some Goodyear Eagle F1's and the 235/40/17 is hard to find at the moment - if the Federals are better, it might be worth a change of plan !
