Default Cosworth Fan switch sapphire vs Escort

Hi All,

I have a 92 Sapphire Cosworth and I have been having issues with the temp getting too high 100-110deg so I just went to replace my fan loom and radiator switch with one from MSD and i have a couple of questions.

Which fuse in the fuse box is for the radiator fan switch? Is it number 11?

Also i just found out i have an escort cosworth radiator fan switch so the plugs are different. I see the temp ranges are also different so am i best to try find a sierra fan switch plug as mine was cut and an escort plug put on to suit or just replace the fan switch with a new escort cosworth one?

Thanks Gareth

I think it is 11. I'd get a Sierra fan switch. When you install the new fan loom, the old loom, relay and fuse become redundant as far as I'm aware so just remove them from the fusebox.

I think it is 11 as well.

Fuse may be 8 actually, from memory. I removed fuse 8 on my car after searching on here and google.
