Where to buy new Pistons 9:1

Not sure if you'll find them off the shelf. I would start with Julian Godfrey though. If anyone has them in stock they will as some of the rallycross engines run that compression ratio.

I will be running that compression ratio without a restrictor. Should be nice to drive off boost as well as on. Will keep boost under 2bar throughout rev range and be running a circa 103ron fuel. I wouldn't like to try it on pump fuel but people have.

Or buy Sunoco MaxNos and do a 70/30 vpower / MaxNos mix.
Max nos mixes particularly well with pump fuel.
Would have to be mapped on this and not driven without the race fuel.
All depends on how many miles you do? I see race fuel as a cheap engine protector but I do bu**er all mileage. Also depends on if you want to use the car for competition as well.

However if you have a conservative power goal with a higher octane fuel there is a bit more, how shall I say, margin???
I could have water meth injection but I figure my car already has four injectors that will be mapped perfectly to the car. Why add another failure point?
That's why I've done away with water to air intercooling.
Sorry for thread hijack op

Out of interest if your had a car mapped on v power say and then You decided to run a higher octane fuel (103 ron, etc), or add something to the v power to make it a higher octane would you gain more power in the cars current state/setup?
Or would it need mapping and boost adjusting to suit the new fuel to get that extra power?
Cheers Paul
