Default 2wd to 4x4 Doughnut and damper swap?

Hi All

Maybe this topic comes up often, but I would like to know if it is safe to use, the type 9 2wd drive shaft (tail end) with damper and doughnut on the 4x4 type 9 gearbox?

I've swapped them around to check fitment and they fit exactly. Why does the 2wd have a damper but the 4x4 not? Is it compensating for vibration or there to alleviate the vibez?

My thought is to use the existing prop shaft as it fits with the 2wd tail end but does not fit with 4x4 one

2wd Type 9 tail end

Will be interesting to know.

Cheers

Different boxes and prop shaft lengths
Plus the mt75 is a fixed out put while the t9 has a sliding shaft
