Default Sourcing oil separator adaptor/fittings

Hi all,

I'm putting together the adaptors and fittings, etc. to fit an Auto Specialists oil separator to my 2wd Saff. I've ordered, off ebay, a 'press in' 16mm push on hose barb adaptor that replaces the original 'kidney box' separator. However, I'm not having much luck in sourcing a 45 degree, 3/8" NPT to 16mm push-on hose barb for the port on the exhaust side. Can anyone who's done this mod point me towards suppliers of this item? Or a similar item?

I'm attaching the oil drain to the sump plug and I think I need a M14 male to AN6 male union and a female AN6 90 to 10mm 90 degree push on hose fitting. I also believe these are common items and available at hose suppliers. Is this correct?

Finally, any pointers on the spec of hose I should buy bearing in mind it's got to be fairly flexible and oil resistant?

All assistance gratefully received.

Cheers

i dont know how handy you are but can you not drill out the original npt plug and weld on a pipe to push your hose onto?
i did similar to this but welded an AN6 fitting on instead.

I'm all sorted on this conversion now and it's up and running. If anyone needs any info then just ask.
