Sourcing oil separator adaptor/fittings
Hi all,
I'm putting together the adaptors and fittings, etc. to fit an Auto Specialists oil separator to my 2wd Saff. I've ordered, off ebay, a 'press in' 16mm push on hose barb adaptor that replaces the original 'kidney box' separator. However, I'm not having much luck in sourcing a 45 degree, 3/8" NPT to 16mm push-on hose barb for the port on the exhaust side. Can anyone who's done this mod point me towards suppliers of this item? Or a similar item?
I'm attaching the oil drain to the sump plug and I think I need a M14 male to AN6 male union and a female AN6 90 to 10mm 90 degree push on hose fitting. I also believe these are common items and available at hose suppliers. Is this correct?
Finally, any pointers on the spec of hose I should buy bearing in mind it's got to be fairly flexible and oil resistant?
All assistance gratefully received.
Cheers
