I am setting up my TPS and have the closed position set to 0.47V
which rises nicely to 4.78V

But when at 2.4V the sensor shows open circuit on my multi meter when opened slowly the reading come back at 2.9V

Closing the throttle is fine ....

I have tried my mates sensor and this is exactly the same,,,Any ideas.

One thing i have noticed that when the throttle slowly closes the readings fall and no open circuit happens.

it seems only on the way up.

Strange its with 2 sensors in exactly the same position.

Can someone clarify what pins on the ECU the voltage should be checked with.

I thought it was pins zero & 17

Well i am at a total loss...
Just rechecked 0.47V closed - 7.02V fully open ?????

I am thinking by battery may be a bit on the low side but cant see it giving readings like this.

Please some input...
