Default Gt3071r cosworth ''during assembly''

Hello everyone,

I live in Paris and I own a sierra cosworth 4x4 Engine full stock

I intend to set up a R GT3071 with an exhaust housing cosworth AR72. I chose this model because it retains the original exhaust line and the internal wastegate.

Have you ever ride this turbo? Loading later? Since that is on dual ball bearing but it is not a ar63

Thank you

hello Bart

Thank you for your answer

You speak of me with GT3071R cosworth exhaust housing?

3500 RPM for full charge turbo

It goes perfectly on the 4x4 exhaust manifold

you have a 4x4 or 4x2 cosworth?

Last year I was also looking at that turbo. But apparently it would surge and the boost needed to be mapped as well, which meant it would need a live map. Who is going to map your engine?

Good morning Marc,

At the moment I am in full assembly of the turbo compressor. The most difficult has adapted this turbo is the oil return.
It touches the mounting studs of the flange of the manifold.

After about managing the mapping, I have a preparateur near my home that began in cosworth. MTR MOTORSPORT He took out 800 hp + on his old sierra

Frankly I think it is a good compromise that gt3071. After seeing a once mapped ...

Msd does not map on this config?

MSD could do a live map, but no off the shelf chip for this setup unfortunately. So in the end I went for the tried and tested T34.48.

Yes you did it is most common and least difficult mount.

In fact I have also taken this turbo because it is reliable and resilient.

And the day I forge the engine, I could keep this turbo.

Nobody who knows someone in England that this turbo?

you have a 4x4 or 4x2 cosworth?

It has a.63 housing. I ported this otherwise you have boost creep.
Turbo is fitted to 2wd manifold with spacer.
Ecu is a KMS MD35.

i had a gt3076r 0.63 and it was horrible - full boost was around 4500rpm and it made 425bhp and 378 lb/ft on Omex 600 - was not happy
