Default Cosowrth 2WD compression test

cossie is showing 100 on two cylinders and 120 on the other two should be 140 + so not good ..

- anyone knows what's wrong with the engine ?

Piston ring gone or head gasket needs replacement ?

Any idea what it would cost to get it repaired ?

Car is now in Kent and Road registered .

Best

you can check if it rings or head by putting some (small amount ) clean oil in through the spark plug hole and re test the compression

if the compression goes up it will be an issue with the rings/ bore if you ge no change it will be head/valves

it wont tell you exactly but it will narrow your search down

It's with the Mechanic now and all I did was a compression test.

They asked whether I wants to open the engine and see what's wrong or sell its as it is . Decided to fix and make sure the car is running right as it's an amazing looking car.

Has Ap brakes , lots of RS500 parts . Just need a good person to get it running right

205 is written in big letters on the side of the block...or 200 if it is indeed a 200 block.
