Default Front fogs

How do you remove the front fogs, as the last owner put some metal covering on to protect the glass?

On a Saff or 3 Door? If it's a Saff, there's a small screw in the top of the surround, then you can pull the lamp out... Binned my fogs off for duct years ago, so not fresh in my mind!

Little screw in the middle at the top

If it's just spinning then it's going to be a pain to get out

As said, there is a screw on the actual light itself, do not touch this, as this adjusts the alignment!

I removed mine recently and the little screw at the top of the surround just turned continuously without winding itself out. Took a thin bladed scraper and slid it between the surround and the bumper until it hit the screw and this gave the threads something to wind themselves out against. The surround then had two plastic tags on the bottom that slot into holes in the bumper. Martin - my lights had 3 screws - one each side in the centre and a third in a corner. I guessed the corner one was to adjust the alignment and the other two holding the light in. Was I wrong on this. Some of the captured nuts for these 4 were buggered as well. Thanks David

the two either side are to hold the fog light into the bumper, the one in the corner is for the adjustment

the fitting screws are aluminum and they will either snap or the heads will break off

replacements were 19p each if ford still have them
