I have a 92 sierra sapp there its 1.6 pinto.. would like to convert it to 2.0 efi twincam engine ..... I kno there will be abit of work involved ...just wondering has anyone on here done it ............ and is there much to the loom side of the conversion ....and what exactly apart from engine will need to be changed

i have a 1.6 pinto engined sierra and have been wondering what engine to put in, including the 2.0 dohc. the pinto would be on a type 9 box and the dohc an mt75, but the type 9 should still bolt up the same so you can keep the same starter. also u'd need an injection tank and fuel pump etc. other than the loom i cant think of anything else offhand mate

I'd use a efi 2l pinto,feels a much more responsive engine
