these days cyllinder heads become more rare .many are damage or with many miles .i search and i found a web with recast heads below .also i hear burton has new heads by order ..anyone bought before ?? the material is better from the original ?

the cylinder heads on that website are made by cosworth themselves. that website just sells them so yes they should be at least as good as the originals

yes i see you right .. burtons head is recast from grainger amd worrell castings and diffirent ports

Recast? What does that mean? These are new castings. No doubt better material properties than original 25 year old items.


G&W are afaik doing the castings for the Diamond series (Millington) as well as Jenvey-products.

You would think they would have optimised ports now and as good as any ported head?

burtons has oprions bigger ports from the cast .bigger than the original no machine need

The Alloy would be at least as good as the last of the line YBP/T engines was, I know the material was up-speced progressively from early YBB to late YBB/YBG/J by Cosworth.
You could always ask, if you're thinking of spending nearly £3k on a cylinder head.
