Default T5 big tooth box

Hello.

Who uses a t5 big tooth box?

What's it like?
Are they very noisy?
I've herd there stiff to engage gears when driving??

I'm running just over 500bhp and I'm just waiting for 3rd gear to shit itself!!
So I thought a big tooth box may be an easy option
But I've herd some stories!

Thanks for any feedback

I have a cts box quaife big tooth gear kit. It's been fine for me it's a little noisier than normal but not really loud. As for the elite a mate has one there crap in road cars lol the novelty wears off! Good on track

one in my car for a good few years now,
the only problem ive had is the small hub inserts bending up around and making it hard to engage 3/4th gear,
nothing really to do with the kit though as these are std t5 bits
I use redline lightweight shockproof oil in it and fine it spot on selecting gears
its only a road car running 450hp
