Please help on rumble.
Hello everyone
I'm hoping someone has had the same symptoms as me.
Right my car is a 2wd sapphire Cosworth and at around 70 onwards I get a really nasty rumble, vibration coming through my car! Almost feels like the gearbox is going to fall out. It's rumbles through the gearstick and all over the car to be fair. Getting to the point I don't enjoy driving it anymore.
What I've done so far is refurbished all my wheels, new tyres and balanced. I have had the gearbox re-built and the propshaft doughnut changed and checked. Plus a good Standard gearbox mount replaced.
My next point of call is the driveshafts and diff
I hope someone has had this and can tell me what it is
Thanks

Mine was shaking and vibrating through cabin and gearstick when car was coming on boost, turned out to be the engine mounts. Check you exhaust isnt fouling underside of car to.

I had it up on the ramp and put a transmission jack up on the sump to check the mounts. Not a lot of movement and I couldn't see any splits. Plus I checked the diff mount too.
I haven't had the joints checked yet so will take the shafts out and check that during the week.

Just a small update
I've now replaced my exhaust with a better fitting one.
I removed my driveshafts and replaced the joints with new ones so they are nice and tight now.
I changed my diff with my mates spare and still now joy!
My next thing I will try is I will remove my prop and get it balanced.
