Bleeding brakes
Hi, im about to bleed the brakes on all 4 corners on my Sierra Cosworth, i was going to start with caliper furthest away and leave the engine off, any thing other adive guys?
Also ive replaced the power steering rack, is it just a case off filling up the bottle or do i need to bleed it first?

have you got abs?
in which case do the rear calipers first with the pump/ignition
if you don't know then you need to turn the ignition on, this pressurises the pump and pushes fluid to the rears when you touch the brake pedal
make sure you have a 3rd assistant topping up the fluid
running the fluid down lets air into the system which can be a right fuck to sort out
for the fronts it's normal pumping the pedal with no ignition
as for the power steering, just put fluid in it and turn the wheel lock to lock until it's got to the right level and it stops making noises
