Breaking my 3 Door - worth it? LOADS of PICS added 29/4/15
EDIT 29/4/15 Loads more pics added, so you can see how bad it really is!
I've got a dog tired ropey 3 door which I was planning on restoring, but I've realised I've not got the time / skill or facilities to do the resto on it.
My 3 door is standard, 88k miles and plagued with tin worm. Been stood outside for approx 17/18 years. Interior is covered in mould, but looks like most of it will clean off with a lot of work. Driver's seat has a small rip in the bolster. Rust on everything that can rust!
I told the farmer where it's stored that I wanted to take some photos of it and he very helpfully moved it inside for me as it was going to rain, so now instead of wet pics you get a load of dark pics! Best I can do I'm afraid!
So what's good on it and worth something?
I'm guessing bonnet, all the arch trims, side skirts and rear bumper plus rear wing. I'm going to pull the head off it and the sump and see if they're all standard and functional.
Can anyone give me an idea of the values of the above items?
Got IIRC £350-400 for a std/std crank and £200 for a standard head I had years ago.
Would a genuine 3 door Cossie shell in Black with nothing showing on HPI be worth anything? I've got no history / MOT paperwork, going to request the V5 as never got it when I bought it. As said it's got a shed load of rot but having looked at some restos, not the worst ever - just very bad
Yep I'm clutching at straws to find something of value in my car, otherwise what's it worth whole?
Any help welcomed!

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
I don't complain when someone breaks one, I don't give a fuck and if anything makes mine more valuable.
Far too many good cars do get broken it's a fact but I guess that's where the money is if that's what your here for.
I'm building one from scratch already thank you.

I'm sorry to everyone who's replied with advice and suggestions, I just don't get in here very often anymore. Thank you for taking the time to look. I've added loads more pics to the first post so you can see the exact condition.
The car's got 4 owners, HPI clear and on 88k miles, been stood in salty sea air for at least 17 years so everything metal is rusty, and some non metal bits too!
The farmer where it's stored reckons it's worth 6k, but he's doesn't have the knowledge that folks on here do. I've been told by one lad I know into the Cossie scene that it would go nearer 9-10k if I listed on Ebay.
I'm not sure what to do at the mo, it costs a fortune to store, but it owes me a lot of money and could get some of that back if I sold it
Hmmm

PassionFord Post Whore!!
Not worth anywhere near 9K tbh.
Even 6K is strong money as looks like everything would need replacing / refurbing.
At the end of the day though, anything is only worth what someone will pay for it
