Default timing belt tensioner tightening torque

Hi people. Whats the tightening torque of the nut for the timing belt tensioner.

Just looked in blue book, it says 40 to 48 nm

Or right cool thanks. I think i might have fooked the threads on the stud cause the nut feels tight but it feels like it will still tighten a bit more.

oh, I've just had another look, the figures i stated it says theyre for the toothed belt tensioning pulley to cylinder head so i assume its the pulley nut

famous for pulling the stud out-dont take a chance with it-examine it in detail
could cost an engine...

Defo matey. I like my cossie to be right. Graham goode sells the studs and nuts so if its fooked which im sure it is i will but another one.

I hope i dont end up drilling the cylinder head cause of the stud.

Just finished playing with the car. I was wide awake at 6am so i thought fook it get in the garage. I took the tensioner off. The stud and nut look fine. I put the tensioner back on and its defo tight now. I torqued it up too.

I wonder if i had a bit of cossie paranoia lol.

Im still waiting for a dizzy cap/arm to arrive then i will get the rest of the engine built up.
