Default Saff cossie 4x4 rear wheel bearings

Are the rear wheel bearings on a saff cossie 4x4 the same as any other sierra or granada. I just think some of the bearings ive seen have a bit of cossie tax on them.

I'm not sure if they are the same as other model, but they are a dear enough bearing to buy from even a motor factors.

It's the fronts on 4wd you'll struggle with, even the cheapo QH have doubled in price now they know what they're worth

I bought from http://shop.grahamgoode.com/wheel-bearings-21544-c.asp and yes they are sold left or right.
Only difference for left / right side is that the central nut is LH or RH threaded, bearings are the same

Glenn, I have just purchased some £64 for a pair from local factors each one comes with both nuts. And are the same as what burton sell.

If Tony is offering genuine for that price THEN BUY UM!!!!!!

Could anyone shed any light on the 2wd wheel bearings please?

Are they bespoke to the 2wd Cosworth's? Or are they common with anything else?

Front or rears?

The rears are the same for all Sierras with rear disc brakes, Granada mk3s and Scorpios. The fronts I guess are the same as the Granada mk3.

I have a full set that I bought for a 24v Granada mk3, after a change of plan they have sat on the shelf for a few years but I have since bought some 2wd Sapphire steering knuckles/hubs.

Before I buy any more bearings I was hoping they might be the same?

Does anyone know without guessing?

Cheers

Well that's good!
The same as what I was told a while ago...

BUT there's a tasty 3dr on here and the geezer did a 5 stud conversion to it, he said the Granada hub wouldn't fit the 2wd Cosworth steering knuckle, so he had to re-drill the 2wd Cosworth hub.

If the bearings are the same then you should be able to swap the hubs but apparently not.

Unless I'm missing or not understanding something?

Sorry, at no point did I actually mention that I am asking about the front bearings.

Apologies.

2wd and 4wd FRONT bearings are different, therefore Granada 5stud 4wd hubs will not fit a 2wd steering knuckle. You'll need 4wd front knuckles

Sorry Mike, it appears I have made this confusing due to me not being specific with my questions.

I have a full set of bearings that I bought for a 24v Granada. (2wd)

I was later told that they would fit 2wd Sierra Cosworth steering knuckles/hubs.

I now am confidenet after the replys in this thread that the rear bearings will be fine.

It's the front wheel bearings that are now my question.

Will the 24v Granada (2wd) front wheel bearings fit the 2wd Sierra Cosworth steering knuckles/hubs?

I do go around things the long way sometimes - I'm sorry
