Default Saff cossie door warning light

Hi peeps what causes the door warning light to stay on. The fault is on the nsf door. Ive checked all the connections in the loom and behind the glove box.

Is there a micro switch in the central locking unit in the door.

Glenn, do they not use a std type door pin switch in the a pillar. if so its prob a bit corroded and just needs a clean or new one.

My interior lights don't come on at all Glenn. I changed all the screws in the push sensor thingies screwed into the chassis of the car below the hinge. It's way down on my list of priorities of things to fix with my Saff so will be keeping an eye on this Read on here that the earthing to the chassis is a common fault.

My light works with the button but sadly not when the doors open

glenn there is a micro switch in the door lock, its held in with 2 plastic lugs, when one snaps the switch pulls out slightly leaving the light on, its an easy fix just fit a new switch carefully

Thanks Steve i thought the switch was in the cl module.

The switches on the pillars are only for the interior lights.

no glen its on the lock itself, when I say lock I mean catch, the one held in by the 3 screws you see when you open the door
