Default Smoked to Amber Saph Cos.

So I've decided to ditch the smoked rear end on my sapphire 4x4 in favour of ambers.
It has the black number plate surround which I intend to remove, will I have to do any bodywork? Does anyone know if it leaves holes etc?

I actually removed mine earlier,
Just remove your rear plate and it should come off. (Held in place with the numberplate screws)

Literally that easy, I'm also going back to Ambers.

If its fitted from the factory, it will have 4 stud holes ,one in each corner held in place with a nut inside the boot compartment

I think it has been on since new, I will have a look tomorrow. Either way its not too much hassle to sort.
Has anyone left it there but colour coded it? I'm not sure how that would look with the ambers

if its a 2wd facelift on a G plate with square speaker grills in front doors then yes factory fitted. Not many of these left!!!

If its a 4x4 they all came with smoked rears and number plate surround.

I've done exactly that as I can then change between amber and smoked lenses as and when I feel like it
