Default Full paint needed.

Can anyone recommend a paint shop to carry out a full re spray for my moonstone 3door.

Car is totally striped except for rear screen as it has the original dealer sticker and I don't want to run the risk of damaging the screen.

Ideally looking for someone in the West/East Midlands. Don't want a cheap blow over really looking for a quality job.

Previous cosworth work would be a bonus.

Thanks Brad

There have been lots of horror stories about respray work on this forum , my advice is to be very careful who you trust to do it. Speak to people who have had work done by the spay shop, look at work they have done to satisfy yourself of the standard and make sure they fully understand what you expect. I am sure there will be lots of people on here from around where you live to help you pick the right one.
Best of luck , hope it all goes well.

I'm a nightmare for detail also, the Mrs drove my VW Transporter into a metal gate, the insurance had it for 3 months tried to give it back to me 4 times and still now the job is only ok. However it is Silver which I fully appreciate is a pig to match.

Body Beautiful, bridgnorth.. look on his website!

Thats where I'm having mine done.
His mate as 3dr in moonstone which he already painted, best paint jobs I've seen in long time n I've seen a few. i been looking for painter for over 2yrs and this is one I've chosen cheaper than most aswell! They're great blokes go have look , they take time out to talk to you and show you their work, they work on E types fully restoring them and there fabrication skills are amazing

I'm am really picky with this, as I had it done in 2006 & it looks fantastic but I've never been happy with it so hence wanting someone who does a top job, as 1 of the things they did is fit 2 non gen front wings which someone pointed out that they sways lines don't line up properly which since pointed out really pees me off!!!! I want the engine out while its in paint 2 so that can be done, but do you have to take it all apart & put it all bk together for gaz? Or will he do everything??
Cheers Lee

No wonder you feel pissed off, a full respray and wrong wings fitted only in 2006 and you are now having it done again!! To me a properly done respray should be a one off.

On the same estate and us and Alex, the owner is a good mate of mine.

I saw that Moonstone 3 door in his shop about 5/6 years ago. Was on a Y-Reg shell IIRC.

Not yet as just haven't had time with work, I. Hoping I will have found someone for the end of the season... as I'd like it all done over the winter months ready for April 2016.
